Love the hardwood floors. I was wonder (because I'm in the process of buying a new house), which flooring is best...solid hardwood or engineered hardwood. The builder I'm working with usually places engineered hardwood as a standard flooring but I'm wondering if it would be better to pay extra for solid hardwood.

@pkatil30 Believe it or not, engineered hardwood is better for most applications... at least in California. You would think solid would be better but apparently not. I'm not exactly sure why ...lol... Weird I know.. Hope tat helps :-) RR
