But let's go through all of the options: Tory coalition or supply-and-confidence agreement: drives away some left-wingers. Same with Labour: lose a lot of people for helping Labour "steal" the election, very weak government, massacred in general election in November 2010. Tory minority: seen as too weak-willed to have power, massacred in general election in November 2010.

@32ewing What other alternitive did the Lib Dems have? Even if they decided to join the Labour Party they would not have a majority. Plus the new tuition fees are a lot fairer than labours policy. Also the Lib dems did make a promise for no tution fees but unfortunatly did not keep it. But if they joined labour they would be joining the party that actually introduced the whole idea of tution fees. Thank you and vote LIB DEM!
