A quick review of two Surefire LED Lights
We were talking about weather or not the E2 LED could hold up to a drop test like I put my G2 (with LED bulb) through often. Without hesitation we threw both lights up in the air and down to blacktop.

Both lights work well befpre and after the test.
Hardly scientific, but another example of how durable the Surefire lights are and how much abuse they can take

  • You haven't even hit the tip of the abuse iceberg my G2 has gone through. I managed to crush the batteries inside of the tube, and after changing batteries it still ran. After killing two other lights messing around the same day, I can say a Surefire is worth the extra cash. You don't have to believe me of course, do it for yourself.

  • @Monophony1

    yup, we were playing around

  • what about the incandescent variant of the e2d? would the bulb survive that?

  • I doubt it, so I don't want to try it with any of mine, LOL

  • i would not trust a fenix in a life and death situation...

  • You can, they are as tough and every but as reliable! Surefire does make an outstanding flashlight though!

In the youtube search bar type Will it Crush - Fenix T1 and see for yourself how tough they are!

  • @krazy22dude Um... I would. People say this kind of stuff as though they have tested the higher end Fenix lights and have evidence that they fail. I would DEFINITELY trust a Fenix light to be my primary duty light if I were a police officer or something similar. Fenix lights are amazing. So are 4Sevens, Jetbeam, Olight, etc. etc. etc.

Even lights like Olight and Jetbeam which I consider usually to be a bit higher end than even Fenix still often are cheaper than Surefire.

  • @krazy22dude I would

  • @mlgprotipsy hey buddy look at the new g2x pro and g2x tactical surefire flashlights they are about 50 bucks and i have one and they are great

  • @ericssson not true

  • @mlgprotipsy fucking looser get a life...

  • @mlgprotipsy Man relax, both Olight and Surefire make good flashlights. (:

  • @GearBuyersGuide e2d led defender = 200 dollars for 200 lumens and 2 output modes

olight m21 warrior = 150 dollars for 500 lumens and 4 output modes including strobe.

    surefire......more like failfire.......or surefail.......

  • @krazy22dude

    Why not?

  • that kind of drop can even 5dollar chinese plastic crap survive
