WROC-TV (Channel 8) reports on a Web site created by a Rochester Institute of Technology student that helps students with challenging homework assignments.

Say you have a complex math problem to solve or need help memorizing Spanish vocabulary. Sometimes you can't turn to mom or dad for help and that's where Tutorii comes in.

Tutorii launched back in October and has now reached college campuses and high schools across the country. It's the brainchild of RIT software engineering student Eric Koslow.

You post a homework question... but don't expect any easy answers. Koslow created the site so other students and teachers can share their knowledge of the problem. So the student looking for help can use the knowledge to find the answer on his or her own.

Anyone can post advice to a question and many do. The more information, the easier it is for the student to learn and solve their problem. The green highlight means the student looking for help has checked the advice and believes it's helpful.
