A#1 Best Epiphone Prophecy SG EX Custom w/EMG 81/85 pickups Guitar Demo

Here's a Epiphone Prophecy SG EX Electric Guitar for you to check out. It's got window dressing galore and a great sound. I had to edit this one down a bit as I did 2 takes and each was over 10 minutes long...I chose the 2nd take as I liked some of the playing towards the end better (I was almost warmed up...). This one was marked as "USED" and there are lots of theories as to what that can mean, but as I was in the industry for a good 15 years, I'll add one more to the list...the manufacturer needed to move a bunch of guitars outside normal dealership channels, so they maeked them "USED" and that's it...no issues at all...just a discounted price and another sale done...I worked at a dealer that would get all sorts of factory 2nds...sorry, but I just can't see GIbson messing up (cosmetically...as 2nd's are never anything structural) on 5 F-5 Mandolins in a row...some of my own favorites were 2nds and only on one of them, my Gibson Explorer, was I actually able to find the "flaw" (one of the side dots was misplaced...11th fret position vs. 12th...they covered it up as best they could...)...Food for thought anyways. I set-up, clean-up, and thoroughly go over everything I sell and I'm very picky about what I buy in the first place. I'll probably be putting it up on eBay in a no games, no hidden reserve auction (although I already have some interest in it...). Also...Guitars Wanted as I'm always looking for more guitars...I buy/sell/trade 'em. I'm plugged straight into my same old rig (no effects at all)...Fender Super Sonic combo with an Avatar 2x12 all loaded with 12" Hellatone 30's...I use Monster cables for the most part unless I specify something else...this was a 12' Jazz cable between the guitar and amp and a Performer 500 series Speaker cable for the extension cabinet. How is the neck in this guitar and all the prophecies???

@Sotos7Xania This one was long and (fairly) thin (and a bit wide from memory)...but this was over 2 years ago and I'm not an Epiphone dealer (nor a big fan)...I just buy them when I find one that I like (and keep in mind that each one is slightly different in how it sounds (and even feels depending on the time spent shaping the neck and doing the fret work and set-up)...sorry...that wasn't an easy answer...go play a few and look at the ESP/LTD's as well...I think they are better for less $...

@TheSquiglyProduction Yes...to a point...I could gig with it (if it were a good one...and they are not all good)...I would say to look at a ESP/LTD Viper which you could get for less (at least used) and I think they are nicer guitars for the money...

@helmerke94 I thought I answered this but maybe it didn't post...I like the LTD's better...and they are definitely more consistent (which is not to say that they are all good, but that they have less bad ones than Epiphone)...

@greengtrs Thanks a lot for your answer.It's just that i have little fingers and thick necks can give me a pain in the ass.As i recall most gibsons and epiphones have thick necks and that's why i asked.I really like the prophecy series(both sgs and les pauls) becuase they have emg's and ebony fretboards.Something you don't easily find in such prices.Anyway thanks for the answer :)
