That guitar will never be worth the money that you would have to pay for it. Everyone knows that the best guitars are made by Gibson, Fender and Gretch etc and they are made via factory essembly lines. But, if you can afford it, great!

Working in a the shop where these guitars are built I tend to disagree. The custom guitars we sell at the shop hold their value when resold at the shop again. Maybe out there in the world where people don't know about these guitars they seem valueless but at the shop they hold their value. Thanks for the comment.

@vsu5 The information that you shared is 100% incorrect. A custom made guitar is a guitar made to meet your personal preference. It is not a factory made guitar that has things that you don't like, but you have to deal with anyways because it is there. Custom made guitars made by luthiers are made with better quality than a machine made guitar. Gibson, Fender and Gretch are big brand name that will sell you a $500 guitar for $3000 because of the brand name it holds.
