thank god for the red lightsaber, this is filth. anyone who paid to go to this seminar got ripped off.. i'll tell you how to defend against a TKD slap kick for free, in the second third of chum kiu there is a movement with your right arm lowered at your side with your elbow making a 90* angle followed by a bong sau.. first move catches the kick the bong sau lift's their leg beyond the normal range of motion making them land on their head :) easy as pie.
@Hekikahni Sparring isn't all about winning, and I know both higher leverl and lower level can have benefit from working together. So, if you're ever in New Englad, or I'm out in Colorado, maybe we can get together. I still do want to try applications against your Tae Kwon Do kicks!
@Hekikahni I also have never met him personally, but I know a few folks that had met him. When I was living in Fort Collins, I met the instructor there, though I can't recall his name. He seemed like a nice guy, and the students were doing things I recognized. So, that's a good sign too!
@Hekikahni So, your teacher is Tony Galiano or one of his students? I've trained with/know many Pai Lum people from Florida up to Nova Scotia. I only know a few from the west/midwest.

@Hekikahni Nice! What state are you in? I did Pai Lum for 20 years before learning from Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit. I may know your teacher.
