The middle ages were NOT only a time when people died of nothing or slept with dogs!And not everyone was burned at the stake!
Come let's face it,we don't burn witches anymore but how many pedofiles and serial killers out there?We don't die of a cold but how many pople with AIDS and cancer die each day?You don't get whipped if you don't pay your taxes but how many people are still struggling to pay their bills??
Looks like the world has not changed much to me..

Um... the middle class didnt exist in this era... just a tip. I think that's the whole point of the feudal system, there is no middle class!

@LaCarusiella We have modern medicine that has reduced death rates from illnesses and diseases FAR less than we did before. You realize the justice systems, police investigations and processes have increased so far that greatly reduces the criminals who are killers and pedophiles. Killing back then was common, you could get killed someone if someone thought you looked at them funny. We also live a lot longer than we do now. I see a gigantic difference.

@GTXMAN Not sure. It's from an album by Anonymous 4--they do a lot of Medieval and minstral music, and a lot of a capella music, too. You might check out iTunes for it.

And can i know why you have come up with such a video? What is the motivation you had when you made this?

@jsmithbab6 It was for a class I'm teaching, but I'm so happy it caught on here! I wanted to use authentic images and music from the times and give as realistic and broad a sense of the times as I could.
