  • ZhangLiMei, I'm not a Mantis player I train in Wing Chun and Hung Gar. But I can say for certain that your stances look good. But be careful, sometimes when you transition into front stance it looks like your knee extends beyond your foot. You risk a knee injury doing that and also you lose some power. Otherwise it looks good.

  • when you block up, make sure the block extends over your head... jsut a little advice.

  • dude forget what every one is saying your stance is great u got long and low and you took your time despite the title or what every one said it looks really good keep it up

  • @IntelGore Thats so weak! OH MY GOD! He is not even to kill a mosquito with those movement!

  • Dude, seriously, why did you put that up? You "hop" into stances, transition out of control, no focus, no power ... just simple shapes made in the air with no alternative use or function. TheRealSalGovermale ... you are either an idiot or a troll and either way your comment clearly evidences your complete LACK of MA skill at any level. WC and HG? Sure you do ... got all the DVDs do you ...

  • @IntelGore I'm sure you think you're an expert but you're wrong, this may be very basic but I can see the mantis in it.

  • @ZhangLiMei I know many of these forms, who is your instructor?

  • @dime85sg this is the same form wooso (wu shou) means five hands

  • @TheRealSalGovernale

Also, when the knee goes past the toe, you can easily corrupt the stance

  • The form is right, everything is going in the right places, but your stances are kind of wobbly. Stance training would help this out.

And I like the speed you're doing it at. Don't do it any faster until it's perfect!

By the way, I use a mirror, it really helps :]

  • I practice mantis kung fu and it looks almost like a form called wooso except there are a few movements that are not there

    what form is this?

    and can kind of mantis

  • good video :)
