My 75g Reef Tank (@ 6 months)

My System: 75g consisting of 75 lbs live rock, 48" Current USA SunDial T5 HO 4x54W (plus 6 Coralife 20W Mini Fluorescent 50/50 bulbs rigged into the canopy), 29 gallon sump, 10g refugium, ASM G3 protein skimmer & Rio 3100 return pump, CPR CS90 Overflow Box, 4 powerheads, and a Fluval 405 canister filter (no mechanical/biological media; just carbon & phosphate pad).

hows the temp in your tank. i have just set mine up and i have 4x110w VHO's and its between 80-82 constant

@camp42085 Hey I am doing the same thing for my Oscar. I got a fluval 405 to go with the new 75 gallon tank. I am thinking about just cycling the 405 on my 29 gallon tank. Is that the same thing you did?

It's great and I recommend it for LPS and softies, but I replaced it with an Outer Orbit 2X250W MHs so I could add SPS and clams. I love the shimmer effect of MHs.

Thanks. I've recently added a multi-colored open brain, some ORA SPS frags, and a coco worm.
