  • I didn't get any suggestions on bridle changes. I looked all over.

I finally got the E3 to stay in flying after nock adjustments and reversing the T connector. I immediately started trying tricks, but they weren't working. I should have stopped.

When I landed, I thought I didn't need to adjust it. Instead, SNAP.

I have the Prism DVD, it doesn't coach you on line control (why not BRIGHT colored lines for a video on freestyle?). I was considering doing it myself, but, well, SNAP.

  • what do you mean "nock adjustment" and "reversing the T connector"? the nocks in the wingtips are usually glued there and the T connector on the E3 serves as the anchor point of the lower inhaul of the bridle, so I can't imagine how to "reverse" it.

  • I have to tell you, according to what I can see in your vid, the LE breakage was due to a sharp pull on the wrong line when the tip of the wing was deep in the ground, so, instead of taking off, you dragged the kite sharply, breaking the spar. This are carbon fiber spars, quite rigid but fragile, you need to be gentle with it if you want to avoid damage.

  • the original E3 bridle is less than optimal, too much pull, too wide turning radius. But it is easy to fix it, basically, you want to shorten the lower outhaul by approx. one inch, the lengthen the lower inhaul by one inch too (this requires changing the inhaul).

  • I sent a message directly to you. You should find it in your youtube inbox.

  • Hi! nice video, have you tried the bridle changes I suggested? did it improve? (before breaking, of course). Begards from Argentina.
