I really depends on how much your project will require.. If the lecturer see the industrial potential of your project, they might be able pull some fund from the faculty or their own grant. Good luck. =)

well, thank you very much. I would like to ask though; how much do I get when i am doing my graduation project ? or does the uni just buy whatever materials i ask for ?

thx a lot for the information ..
I used to study Chemiacl Engineering in United Arab Emarites for one year and a half .. but things didnt go well.. so i dropped off from the uni .. and now am thinking to go to this UNI Nottingham in Malaysia .. but am worried that the system of teaching there is in the UK system .. which is different then the American System I used to be tought in my past uni ! :S ...

M'sia campus also offers courses which is not taught in the UK to cater the industrial needs in this region (ie Visual Information, if you doing E&E). Exam papers, evaluations, lecture materials, etc is mostly done by ppl here, so it is fullly integrated course and done in Malaysia. Stricly NOT a twinning programme as others might think! Your transcript will not show which campus you study. Nottingham Malaysia campus is the first UK university campus being operated outside the UK.

Hi mohamed, Nottingham M'sia Campus is the best place to study. Surrounded by forest, yet not far from the city, it has world-class lecturer (lots frm UK campus) and facility. Everyhing here is parallel to the UK's and the best thing is that you have the same access of resource and oppurtunity that other campus have. We also recieve fund from the UK campus and if you do well, you might be getting fund to expand your research.

It is important to remember that UK system requires you to be totally independent in your study ie. no quiz or frequent test (generally) to 'push' you to constantly study along the way. Most of the time the assesment will only be done in the end ot the semester or academic year. Yes, you might not used to the system, but you just need to catch up really fast to take advantage of the best that they offer ;).

We also have the Student-Staff Consultive Comittee to discuss any problem that student face regarding academic matters. If you have any issue to raise, just inform your class/shchool or faculty reps and they will put the agenda into meeting.
