Burley Iron Works silage trailer with live floor. These units are sold by Big Sky Agri Inc. in Lethbridge, Alberta. Phone 403-315-2305. This trailer is 34 ft long, has 84" driver side extension and 96" passenger side extension. From the time the driver stops backing up to the pile and engages his PTO, it unloads in 1 minute. When you are done silage, you remove the extentions, install the beaters and spread manure. Change over takes about 1.5 hours. All units have hydraulic tilt out beaters, to clear rocks or concrete chunks. Units are sold with 2, 3, or 6 chain configurations and come with all hydraulic components. Available with Vertical or Horizontal beaters, spring or air ride suspension, tandem or tri-axle. Customizable to you're needs.

  • A good load will be about ... 27 tun. depending on the moisture of the crop. I uploaded a Manure spreading vid. Check out... Dec 11 spreading manure.

  • @ssattach How many m³ can be in there

  • how much did this trailer cost you? nice vid

  • Nice trailer! Let me know the dimensions or capacity and max load weight of it (I prefer meter and kg). What size of the tires? How about reliability the floor chains? I think power push is more reliable solution...

  • Love the sound of the tractor in the backround!

  • @quadarinxxx - Doubt it, not really a spreader is it, just a trailer!

  • I've run one of these for 2 seasons now...Best trailer EVER! Never had any problems with chains breaking. The reason we apply brakes is because the pit is sloped down, and u don't wan't your load scattered across the pit. Kindda hard on mudflaps when your backing up..lol. I might have some video of manure spreading, I'll post some when I get a chance.

  • is there any videos of this being used as a manure spreader?

  • what if the chain breaks? That would be a nightmare. Other than that I like it. Quick, safe, and no need to get out.

  • makes 5 loads enough to fill the whole pit!!! (at least ours)
