tax cuts work both ways. give tax cuts to the companies they can hire more people. those people can spend and so forth.

This is true, particularly for small businesses. Many large businesses avoid taxes anyway, so it is unclear how much reducing corporate taxes will actually improve employment.

I just finished Kenneth c. Davies book on history, written in 1999. It's astonishing how similar what happened in 07 & 08 is to 1929.
When FDR tried to help people he was called a "Socialist, a Communist", every attempt possible was used to slander him.
Conservatives said WWII ended the depression, not gvmt spending. 20 Million people were removed from the economy & sent to war.
When they were at war, WHO, was funding them, & purchasing their supplies from factories here?

Current defense spending dwarfs our shortfalls in healthcare spending.

Taxes aren't the problem today, it's government spending. Cutting taxes and/or raising them will have little effect on our out of control government spending. We could cut taxes if we got control of our spending and didn't spend hundreds of billions of dollars on interest alone.

As always, you have to say what we should cut. Raising top marginal rates a little wouldn't cause a fall in economic growth, either.

Wouldn't it be better to have a national sales tax with a rebate for the poor? That would be a truer
tax on the wealth of the rich with different streams of income.

Yes, although the visual changes in size may be too small to see on some monitors. I try to keep the relative sizes accurate within each narrative sequence. If I ever re-do this one for High Definition, it will zoom-in to make the animation more visible.

Bush Tax Cuts Are Good

Hopefully you mean my movie is good -- as opposed to the tax cuts themselves, which, after all is said and done, didn't do any good that mightn't have been accomplished without the bad.
