It's really sad Pittsburgh supports the Steelers and Penguins but not the Pirates. They have a nice park and their fans deserve better!

The 1960 world series was 50 fuckin years ago. The only people who even remember it are Pirates fans. The fact of the matter is, todays Yankees would dominate todays Pirates. However, it is pointless to even discuss due to the fact that the Pirates probably won't make it to the world series for another 50 years.

well look at what happened in 2008? The yankees had $210 million payroll and Tampa had a $40 million payroll. The Rays made it to the World Series and the Yankees didn't make it to the postseaon. Comes to show you that money doesnt always make you a good team.
