It seems that if one dove (tilted the rotor forward) quickly in forward flight that the air flow might be able to enter thru the top of the rotor and stall it (or even cause it to rotate backwards). Is that the case?

@MRoesterreicher1 Oncoming air, nothing but that. If the power quits, you just auto-rotate back down, as if gliding.

The most important modification to this model is generally considered to be the
horizontal stabiliser, as fitted to almost ALL other gyroplanes, for good reasons.
Modifications affecting the relative positions of the thrustline and the Centre of mass
are also available.
Another mod, the 'whale-tail' rotor stabiliser, which is fitted to this machine,is
claimed by the manufacturer to stabilise the machine in pitch.
I fly a single-seat open machine, and it is indeed great fun to fly..
