is is not an "anti-gay" campaign. This is the move of the courts against all of the people, and the voice of the people to put those judges back into their constitutional straightjacket by putting into the California State Constitution a few sentences upheld in 2000 by the people, which was overturned by the court this year.
At stake is religious freedom. Can a minister be forced to marry a same sex couple if it is against his beliefs? Absolutely if this proposition is not passed. Such couples have all the legal rights and benefits now that "married" couples do, this is a critical issue for freedom of speech, as ministers in Canada already are fined for reading passages of the Bible that might speak of "sin" that some today would rather not hear. Such is their right to so speak at their own church pulpits.
These who are against Prop 8 are the typical anti-Christ examples in scripture, who cry for "tolerance" and proclaim in essence" Thou shalt not judge me," for "there is not sin" and "there is no God." Such persons always in promoting a "tolerance" agenda are always the least tolerant toward anyone criticizing them, such as the anti-Christ Nehor who founded the "Order of the Nehor's," an order who were murderers of Christians. They would not tolerate their neighbor to believe contrary to how they themselves believed.
Currently, vandalism and stealing of signage is an example of such tactics. I don't go around shredding "No on Prop 8" signs, nor would I. And, I'd object to anyone removing such signs from someone's lawn or house. I think all should be free to speak and believe as they wish. It is of no surprise however that bands of who knows who repeatedly canvas neighborhoods and shred and take down "Yes on Prop 8" signs. Fortunately, these are beginning to be monitored through the night, busted, and turned over to law enforcement for their vandalism.
Supreme hypocrites are these crying for "tolerance" yet they move about destroying signs and would rejoice at the shutting down of Churches, unless it be their own hedonistic church speaking flattering things unto their carnal minds.
Yes being gay is a lifestyle choice. It's not natural nor is it right. if everyone lived by the same sex rule then we as a species would die out, again trying to justify your agenda between your legs as a right is simply wrong.

Try a new argument, calling everyone liers is getting old. Try backing up your arguments with actual facts instead of blaming others. People voted, get over it.

This is such a rediculous video, people have rights, this is crazy that this is even an issue. This is all about hate. We have taken steps backwards as a state, nice work everyone that voted yes on 8.

Marriage is defined as between a man and a woman in many different religions, and by people who are not religious. Marriage is more than just love. If there was no such thing as marriage, what would be the main problem for society? Who would be legally responsible for the children that would be created through the sexual relations of heterosexual couples? Bearing and rearing children is hard work and very expensive. This is one of the big reasons government is involved with marriage.

There's no such thing as "Traditional family values". This is propaganda plain and simple.
The definition of Marriage is NOT being changed. The legislation you are referring to was overturned BECAUSE it sought to limit the definition of marriage to the Christian perspective which was not supported by the state Constitution. Furthermore, being gay is not a "lifestyle choice".
