  • It is very out of character for her. Not entirely sure "boycrazy" would be the way to describe Buffy, but anyways.

The thing with Satsu was, at least from my point of view, Buffy being alone and needing to connect and feel. We humans do need some physical touch every now and then after all.

The second romp in the sack does make less sense, I agree. But we always find out new stuff about ourselves. And being a tiny bit bi-curious isn't very uncommon.

  • @DorianWindslasher I completely agree. I think you nailed it.

  • Wow. You have a bigtime sarcastic and pessimistic announcer voice. I don't think I'd ever want to listen to your attitude again! That is NOT the way to review. You can review with positive and negative feelings/opinions in a more decent manner.

  • @mysintolovemen There are plenty of times when it's appropriate. I have well over a year's worth of reviews and 99% are positive. I rarely cover books I don't like but sometimes I do. Watch the new one on The Alcoholic.

  • buffy is not gay ep 33 angel back

  • @val1630 Val, you might want to be more considerate of other viewers/readers. This is a comment on issue #15. Not everyone may be current with the series. Perhaps they wait for the trades. Announcing his return is a pretty major spoiler.

  • You also got to remember that there is a year and a half of things we don't know about (Joss himself said that was the timespane between the end of S7 and the begining of S8). Willow and Tara developed from meeting each other to the Oz coming back episode in five months; from December 14 to May 2. Disagree or not on the relationship, I don't care, but don't assume there wasn't time for her to be bi-curious. I've always assumed it would happen someday, ever since season one; even before Willow.

  • Mecha Dawn's a good idea being that Dawn's huge and Goddard is an Andrew fan.

Joss promised Buffy wouldn't be a lesbian, not that the sex wouldn't happen again. It happened as a way to say goodbye; both agreed and had a nice moment. As for Buffy being boy crazy-what a load of crap. Willow liked boys too. It isn't about the sex of a person, but about who you like despite their sex. Buffy is showing she is open to more than one sex. Buffy said love was usless before Satsu. No won't any longer.

  • @millsnj096c I gave them up quite a while ago. I usually purge my pull list once a year to try new things. Plus I'm generally switching to trades. I like knowing where to expect an ending of a story and they're just more economical plus look nice on a shelf.

  • I'm sure I'm not the only lesbian who has thought for years that a hot, strong, kick ass woman like Buffy needs the love of a good woman so it is entirely appropriate for her to have a "thing" with Satsu and as for the fact that she leads Satsu on this is in character as she does this to Spike but in an even worse way. It makes her more of a 3 dimensional character that she makes mistakes... she'd be boring if she always did the right thing.

  • Yeah I felt that Buffy's relationship with Satsu was the exact OPPOSITE of how they portrayed do Willow's relationship with Tara. We all knew Buffy was going to brush off that tryst and Buffy seemed just incredibly desperate for sex that she went with a girl who LOVED her. Satsu loved Buffy and Buffy just led her on it seemed. It wasn't cool or in character with her.

  • haha your voice is awsome :)

  • oh come on... satsu wasn't that bad.

  • okay, before willow met tara, would anyone have suspected that she might be gay/bi? chances are no, since she was only into guys back then. so what exactly is the big deal about buffy suddenly becoming bi-curious? you may argue that it's out of character, that buffy never showed any indication of being into girls. However, remember that willow never did too (before meeting tara that is), but yet i don't see people making a big fuss over willow's very sudden change in sexual orientation.
