FELLOW TEXANS: Ever notice how people in LA, San Fran, Chicago, NYC, or the rest of the upper East Coast react to us? Being friendly is so foreign, so odd, to them that they are either charmed, afraid, or simply shocked by it. As a native Houstonian (and a Texan 'til I die) whose work involves travel all over the US, I find their reaction to the simplest of kind, friendly gestures highly entertaining.
