I needed a shim that was approx 0.1mm thick for spacing out a taper bearing on a BMW R80 rear wheel. Knowing that a beer can wall is about 0,1mm thick I made up a pattern using CamBam and then cut it out with my Proxxon MF 70 DIY CNC machine,
