Chapter 1:
I heard the doorbell ring and I ran to get it. "Hey, Jake." I smiled. "Hey, Nessie." He kissed my forehead. My name is Renesmee Cullen, or Nessie, and I'm 16 years old now. Jacob, or Jake, is my best friend, much to my Dad's dismay. Jacob is a werewolf and my family are vampires. Werewolves and vampires have been enemies for who knows how long. But, I mange to solve the fights. Jake had always wanted to imprint, and when I came along he did. Impriting is something that werewolves do. It's like you see someone and your automatically in love. Like love at first sight. Jake has waited too long for me to be old enough to go out with him. I'm not a complete vampire, I'm half-human, half-vampire. "Hey, Bella...Edward." Jake said, as we walked into the kitchen. My parents are Bella and Edward Cullen. Jake had a crush on my mom before I was born. Jake followed me to my room. I had always really liked Jake. I had to not think about it at all, really. Since, my Dad can read my thoughts. "Ugh. I still hate your Dad. Stupid bloodsucker." Jake complained. "Jake!" I hit his arm, playfully. "What? It's true." "Yeah, and you always seem to slip over the fact that I'm a 'stupid bloodsucker', also." "Well, it's less obvious with you. Your...so much different." "Yeah, because I'm only half vampire. I hate that." "Why? I love that your only half vampire. That means, I only have to be half of your enemy." We started laughing. "We talk about this everyday, it seems like!" I said, still laughing. "Nessie, it's time for Jake to go home." "But, Dad he -" "No, buts, missy. He needs to go home." "Dad! I'm 16! Stop treating me like a baby!" I yelled. My Dad left the room. "I'm sorry, Jake." I sighed. "No, it's really my fault. I thought something that I shouldn't have. It's my fault." "It's okay." I smiled. 'Oh how I wanted to kiss him right now.' I thought. "Oh shoot!" I said. "What?" "I thought something I shouldn't have, also." The door flung open. "Nessie, family meeting. Jake, go home, please." My Dad ordered. "Bye, Jake. See you tomorrow." As soon as Jake left, everyone was furious at me. "Renessmee Cullen, do you know what would have happened if you kissed Jacob, that filthy dog!?" My Dad yelled. "One, he's not a dog. Two, if I kissed him, I would have known what true love feels like." "True love!?" "Dad, don't you understand? It's the same way it was with you and Mom! Forbidden love! YOU of all people should understand what I'm going threw!" I yelled, tears almost rolling down my cheeks. "I'm sorry, I don't understand. Now, go to bed. Without dinner." 'I hate you.' I thought, so only Dad could hear.
