can someone tell me what i'm supposed to do with letters that I pick up from the ground and hold in my hand? You would think you're supposed to read them but i can't figure out how! Just a stupid annoying symbol in the bottom left of my screen, with writing on it, but I don't know how i'm supposed to read it. Please help, thanks.

playing myst takes a long time, like any other sequal, but playing myst I (all ages) gives you a clue on what to do on the main island to complete the game, so if you know the clue, you can indeed complete the game in 3 minutes without playing all the ages.

Everything is depressing and dull looking, don't like this version. I like the brighter look of the originial better. Too many earth tones..

there is a secret passageway down the halls to each of the brothers rooms. It's a small door on the right side if you're heading down the west bedroom and on the left side if you're heading down the east bedroom. Once inside, there is a compass mechanism. The compass has buttons all over it and you must press the correct button for it to gain electricity in the Myst book room. Then, drain the water to the ship hull and the Myst book is in there.
