In this clip normal spine motion is demonstrated using a pig spine. The lack of rotation at the lumbar vertebrae is used to show that rotational movements such as russian twists can be harmful to the lower back.

  • Yeah take the spine in isolation and deduct from that how it should be moved... Not how it works in the real world mate.
