2010 was a very interesting year for bonds. We saw the European sovereign debt crisis significantly affect prices in the region and US Treasuries experienced their own ups and downs. And while some countries in Europe have already seen their debt ratings lowered, further downgrades in 2011 would not be completely unexpected.
