Refreshing to hear an incredible teenager who studies in "the States." The program was exceptionally ambitious - the Liszt and Prokofiev are things that already have champions that are hard to match (Berman and Lugansky in the Liszt and Richter and Kissin in the Prokofiev). Meanwhile, judges always are strange - just look at who their "winners" often are (anyone check out the last Chopin Competition?!). What's more important is developing a close affinity to certain repertoire.

Hugo it's tremendous ! You have a play very light on piano. I like very much. Bravo for your rendering at competition. A true concert for me. Thanks for this very good time to listen to you. What is the result of competition ? And... very happy year on piano !!!
