@moroney1 Fair enough. I generally do not engage in that sort of discourse as that is the very thing that irritates me about Youtube, but I suppose I acted on reflex. Of course you are entitled to your opinion, and not to play tit-for-tat but, "butchered" and "made a fool" are not exactly respectful are they? Even if they weren't directed at me, I found your original post insulting to the artist. I apologize.

@moroney1 Moron, how fitting. First of all, the VH1 Divas Las Vegas performance of "You Shook Me" was BEFORE this performance. Secondly, she sang the anthem beautifully, just that like many she flubbed a word or two - it's not at all the overblown mess that the media made it out to be. Unfortunately, there was all this nationalistic bullshit going on in the USA at the time because of Dubya and the war in Afghanistan and this one performance completely derailed her career in the USA.

She butchered the anthem and then made a fool of herself with Celien Dion and made sure she would never hav a career in the U.S.
