It sucks, it just didn't work
But what'd you expect? The machine is a hoax
You're alone in this terrible world
Counting memories in that basement below
Outside, there's a bridge
Used to walk by it in dreams
Now I see the river below
Cold & streaming with glorious flow
I step on the edge and let time push
I head to the waters and remember
My memories start dancing
My first love, he's just glancing
Big fights and door breaks, they're all here
The water tells me, Have no fear
It worked, it finally worked
