Reason Tutorial 2 - Matrix Gate Combinator Patch

A tutorial for users of Reason version 3 and higher. This sound design tutorial uses the Matrix to create a gate effect like that found on VST instruments such as Vanguard. This is a rhythmic effect where the volume of the synth part(s) rises and falls in sync with the tempo. All you need to do is press RUN and then hold down 1 or more keys to hear the effect.

So I did this and as soon as I inserted the Sequencer I lost all audio. Kinda a noob, please help

I have Reason 4.0 and I do not have Combinator? Is this something I'm supposed to download? Where do I get it?

@VstPatches I'm not sure if my question was clear enough. Specifically, if you listen from 3:14, you can hear a large pop on each third beat on the matrix sequencer. It seems to happen when there is a sharp difference in cv values from one step to the next. Is this a design flaw, or, am I just ignorant to ways around this problem?
