ok i shop at hollister and i dont think im the same as every one else., look at the "emo" kids they all dress the same., or the "gothic" kids., or the jocks., or the artists., were not all the same! get over yourselfs you sounds really stupid saying that hollister is for preps and quiers

My son works at a Hollister store, they treat their employees like garbage. To get work hours they demand the kids, working at minimum wage, to buy a certain brand of Hollister clothing. Then if the kids don't have the money or desire to comply the manager cuts the kids hours (to nothing). In a time of Occupy Wallstreet, here is a multi-million dollar business screwing the very decent kids that work there.

The clothes is overrated. They have pre wrinkled shirts and pre ripped jeans. Shits are like 50 and jeans are like 70. I can buy a pair of Levis for 30 and rip them and buy a shirt from Pacsun for 15 and not iron it haha. Polo is way better if you're into expensive clothes.

@OJReadMore Uh, Hollister actually isn't from Southern California at all. In fact, the *city* of Hollister is in Northern California, and isn't anywhere near the beach, as we report in our video on Hollister. Check the Wikipedia entry -- the company is headquartered in Ohio. The whole SoCal thing is faked to sell more clothes. If you buy the brand, you're paying extra money for something some marketers made up.

Preps aren't gay, they're just stupid. All clothing outlets in the US know that kids want to be cool, and the center of perceived 'coolness' is from Southern California. That's why all these brands, Hollister, A&F, Billabong, all originated from So Cal.

I personally am fascinated by Harajuku fashion. Those kids take the best of all designers and make their own apparel using the texture and color of their clothes that reflect their personality. You can't buy that at Hollister.
