(that is sarcasm incidentally) - I was clearly talking about the editing (which can clearly be an art form) not the content of the video - (see context please!) When I said it is cool I obviously mean it in the sense that it is drawing attention to a very real and terrible situation that is happening now.

the craftsmanship of editing a video in order to fit it around a melody are definitely personal. Very tidy work indeed...

however... i don't think the message conveyed by the images correlates to that of the song

Well you are very nice to judgmental James - editing other peoples footage is in every way an artform - why not? Skilled and creative editors do it all the time using other people's footage and music - it can or cannot be skillful - just as someone shooting their own footage or making their own music can or cannot be skillful - it depends - though I think this is indeed skillful and political and cool
