Runaway Bay "Masquerade" Part 1

Runaway Bay was a childrens' television programme from 1992.
This episode takes place on Carnival Day and has much colourful fancy dress.
This is the first major acting role for Naomie Harris who went on to feature in 'The Tomorrow People' and then had roles in films, including 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

i remember this years ago,brilliant show ,cant find it any where it vanished,it would b great if it was released on dvd.does any know of another series about a kids computer network based in australlia and travelling around europe

I can't imagine Runaway Bay ever being released on dvd, but we can hope!

The Australian series you mention does sound familiar but I can't quite bring it to mind. Australia has a very active and generously funded children's television foundation which produced (and still produces) good quality programmes. If I do remember the name of this series I'll let you know.

I Watched all the episodes on dutch television when I was a kid. Really cool to see this serie again.

@niggleodeon The 1st series just had a core block of cast, the same in each episode. The 2nd series(no where near as good) had more characters and different mix in each episode

I wish that Runaway Bay was on DVD, its very hard trying to find the series online or anywhere else. I used to have them on VHS but lost them. It was such a good Drama i felf that the drama was left to a side when it went of the air.
