480p setting for motion/excursion, 480i for non-excursion low movement but higher quality.
480i stands for 480 interlaced, which is why you see some lines in a pixel formation with the movement of the sub.
I understand you may not have this anymore, but just some advice, the batteries are rigged to die completely (the contacts) every month, be prepared if you have it to spend 57.99 (if your lucky) on a small battery pack. Good luck!

Hi, there is no internal memory. On my 2 GB SD card, on the best settings, you will get about an hour of shooting.

Not this model. Sansung does offer HD cameras.
