It's used in all games at high level, but that's not really what I'm referring to...

@Emillll The psychological factor mentioned here is called "multiple choices", a fighting style with a complete system of how to use it. Plus, it is also frequently used in Kof 98.

that seth player is awesome!!!!

To add to this, sometimes the patient play of Japan is misunderstood, especially by Mexican players...Too many mexicans believe that the best way to play is to attack all the time and this is actually a very wrong mentality. One big things in Japanese play that is missing in many other styles is the emphasis on the psychology of the opponent...they are able to identify many feelings of the opponent (such as fear, desperation, etc) far better than any others which is very important.

@Emillll It's like Brazil and their jogo bonito in soccer, right?
even them had lose againts "weaker" countries, right?
-
I don't think they are at the same level at all...the metagame is very different, especially with the Mexicans. I think the Brazilian metagame is stronger than Mexico's but it's still not the Japanese metagame which takes into account many many factors (some of them subtle) that change the way matchups are played.

@Emillll But find out soon that they were fine, and that's just an excuse, besides I'm not saying they're better, I'm saying they are at the same level that some japanese tops players. I don't see nothing asian have that can't be learn by south americans, Okizeme?, maybe not as good but can be learn, speed? south americans have it, combos? they can also be learn. I don't care if they can beat Tatsuya, but I'm pretty sure they can beat weaker top players.

He did not play well in Mexico...in fact, against some players it looked like he just tried to get the ft10 over with as fast as possible (like against Alexis, Kula and some others).

Just because A beats B and B beats C, doesn't mean A beats C...and just because A beats B doesn't necessarily mean A is better than B. Did you know that the day Hummer came to Mexico, the big earthquake in Japan occurred and he was told 2 of his friends were missing? Who is going to care about kof when they get news like that?
-
Emill, I'm not mexican nor I care which it's better, but it's anoying the same comments, but I see if Hummer can stand a chance against kyappu which it's a top japanese player, that means that top mexicans players (and Peruvians btw) can stand a chance against japanese players.
Remember that I don't care which country it's better, but I would like to see them fight.
Remember, even Brazil lose sometimes the world soccer cup.
@jodalita
Speaking of bad/annoying commentary...
