He lived for awhile near Beaumont Texas and would sing at the juke joints in and around Bridge City, Orange, and Jasper. His songs were on am radio alot in that area. Saw him live once and was the beginning of my love of the Blues.

One of the best blues albums if not the best blues album in the entire world "Two Steps From the Blues" I can not do without it in my collection..

My dad played this as I was growing up. He taught me the guitar parts. Good stuff.
