RSF: Eutelsat Obligated to Resume NTD』s Broadcast

Reporters Without Borders, or RSF, alleges that Berretta shut off the broadcast intentionally and illegally because of pressure from the Chinese regime. Although Eutelsat』s CEO claims the shutoff was only because of a technical problem, a broken satellite transponder broke.
Its letter to Eutelsat CEO Giuliano Berretta urges him to resume NTD』s broadcast into Asia and China.

Reporters Without Borders, or RSF, alleges that Berretta shut off the broadcast intentionally and illegally because of pressure from the Chinese regime. Although Eutelsat』s CEO claims the shutoff was only because of a technical problem, a broken satellite transponder broke.
But RSF says that another company, BBG, just ended its Eutelsat contract, so now there should be room on the satellite to resume NTD』s broadcast. But this hasn』t happened.
