i was not going downhill, it really makes a difference. i am very impressed with the intake.

wow thats nice i have an 07 xterra and i want a cold air intake u think the nismo one would be better than a kn one also where did u buy it and where did u get it installe/price please help thanks

yes, i think that the nismo intake is good. i just wanted to go with something that was made for it. i am sure the kn is good too but i just wanted to stick with the nismo.

dude neither one of those cars have CVT transmissons....the xterra either comes with a 6 speed manual or a 5 speed automatic, the FJ is the same

@sikbitch i bought my intake for my xterra i have an 06 sexterra and i paid 80 dollars for my intake brand new in packaging and it makes a HUGE difference

@jdm6446 hey guys i have an 02 with 140k on it its my first xterra great condition love it to death, im driving xterra rest of my life. but i wanna know if it is a bit louder than most regular vehicle some simple vibrations nothing crazy but is it normal.shes runs superbly. oh and those vibes are only in idle or when im parked. but nothing major sound more quite than some regulars. but just wanna know if its normal. thanks

I read an article that pitted the Xterra Off Road against an FJ and an H3, all stock and it cleaned up. I've ordered the Volant cold air intake and cat back exaust for mine.  :)
