@falsetruth1 The Carvin mic, model number of which I can't remember, is an electronically-simulated tube mic. The mic pair on Rameshji's sarangi are both R0DE NT5's (awesome electret mics!). I'm not sure Carvin still make that mic, but I can dig up the model if you really want to know it. ;-)

One thing that Ustad Tari has over every other Tabla player I know is that he sings absolutely beautifully aswel. The man is Truly and undeniably gifted !
