Written by Jimmy Webb and performed by Johnny Rivers in 1967 from the 'Rewind' album. I don't recall this song ever receiving any air play however considering as much music and genre of the day, it was easily over looked.
Oh yeah, and then there was that "war that wasnt"....try telling that to any man or woman that went to Viet Nam.

  • I haven't heard this in a long time. I was looking through some old reel to reel tapes i made, and saw this song listed, but the tape is so old and i don't have a R2R player. Thank you, and thank God for U Tube.
