Objectified trailer

A peek at the upcoming design documentary "Objectified", by Gary Hustwit, the director of "Helvetica". The trailer features the voices of Jonathan Ive, Andrew Blauvelt, Marc Newson, and Karim Rashid. The song is "I Like Van Halen Because My Sister Says They Are Cool" by El Ten Eleven.

something that is apparent in most design subjects from the start. Being at Uni at the moment, sometimes it takes me 4 or 5 attempts to fully understand a brief because of the language and way it is written

Yes! Haha, I was reflecting as to why i found this documentary unnerving in a way and that was exactly it! I love the lady near the end who decided that designers should be the leaders and decision makes of our future instead of philosophers (as per the example)., and all I could think was "nope, you're completely missing the point in that aspect... which is why you're a designer and not a philosopher" :P
