@mattlizard29 /agree. Although an occasional bit of MC'ing on old skool goes down well with me (and i mean minimal Scratch Master Techno '92 style) but it is redundant with any type of music that I want to 'trip out' too as i dance (techno, trance, breakbeat etc).
Coked up wankers just learing into a mic saying any random bullshit and thinking somehow they are the 'ringleaders' of an event pisses me off.
Back in the day when i used to DJ (trance) I had a 100% no MC policy.

Well i've been raving since the early 90s, i've been to hundrends of raves in my time but i do agree about some MCs. They really dont when to shut up. I've paid to listen to the music and not someone shouting down a mic so loud that i cant hear anything over his voice. Even back in the days when an E would fuck you up for about 6 hours and you only needed to buy 3 for the entire night i still never got into such a bad state that i needed an MC to keep my awake.
