Sunrui is the one of China's outstanding classic dancers among the young generation. Before graduation from Beijing Dance Academy, which is the highest traditional dance institution in China, he already got dozens of fruitful achievements on his stage.
In 2000, unfortunately he suffered a serious car accident in the U.S. However, he eventually got all those over, even though the tragedy nearly put him off the stage forever. After that, he continues to win some nation-wide prizes proudly.
In the traditional dancing field, he is quite famous for his pliability. It is even barely presented among female dancers. Some very hard gestures are now a kind of representative symbols for him. Besides his technical superiorities, he is also good at combine his sentiment with the theme of the dance. That can be obviously reflects by his most popular works—"Bamboo dream" and "the little boy".
