the first car was powered by hemp ethanol. this is no achievement. it was outlawed because Dupont and William Randalf Hearst were big into the paper industry and wanted it gone because it would have cost them millions if everyone switched over to hemp, so they spread propoganda about it in their newspapers, demonizing it and actually causing it to be outlawed. This caused this discontinuation of hemp ethanol as a fuel source.

You drive this car in Texas an you'll never live to drive it out. You'll probably spend at least six years in a State penitentiary or you'll simply be shot to death as you drive down the road.

alcohol is more harmful, it cases crashes, wife beatings, and murders yet that is very legal.

This gives me a plan...I want to promote sick looking hemp cars that I'll customize =D

why don't they grow hemp in afganistan so we can use the fuel here? this way they would at least stop fighting long enough to have a viable product to sell. it would also limit those poppy plants which turn into heroine. unless i'm getting my facts completely wrong.
