Ricardo Sarabia - Honor Thy Father Live

This is a Drum Angle from the Molly Malones Show in Ramona California on March 28th, 2009. It was shot with a Sony HDR-HC3 In HD. It gets blurry because the tripod was touching the wall or the guitar stacks or something because it causes the image to blur. Also could have been due to the loud bass rig. The audio comes from DPA 4061's and has not been EQ'd yet which is why you get so much bass. My Kick Drum was also triggered by the house. I had no idea this was to happen!

im sorry but the kick sounds like shit, your singer sucks, and you were off a good bit with the bass drum hits. im not saying you did a bad job with it, its just that the triggers pick up every tiny little tab of reverb as a hit. so its not your fault. you did good but the singer, eww. atleast set it as a different setting for the trigger. and yes i did read the description.

@killu626 All good dude. The trigger was not my idea at all, that was what the house was using to amplify the kick instead of a mic. Also keep in mind, this was our first show so screws were bound to be lose with peoples performances including mine =)

Apperantly you have issues with reading. Read the info. Says my kick is triggered. It also says it was not my idea as the venue did it. As far as MP being the only one to be able to stand and play, he is and i think i pulled it off pretty nicely. Also, it's a TRIBUTE not a cover. Learn the difference.

The kick does sound slightly off in places but I think it sounds pretty damn good as kicks go. Just imo.

Overall decent job, but the bass drum just shakes it up too much at times. Especially at times your kick is behind your hands.
