Joyce DiDonato and Juan Diego Florez - Contro un cor - LIVE Covent Garden

Mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato and tenor Juan Diego Florez singing "Contro un cor" in the lesson scene from Rossini's "Il Barbiere di Siviglia". Radio broadcast on October 10, 2009, on BBC 3, from one of the Londonian performances in July.

Knowing that JDD was wearing a plaster, I reckon the line "E' un granchio al piede" could not have been more true!

Oh this is superb!!!!! I know you are a JDD fan, and I most certainly am too, but do you think you could please add the "cessa di piu resistere for us JDF fans out there? Many thanks for these other wonderful snippets - I hope they make a DVD from this!!! Not long until the Licieu "Cenerentola" is released :)

I really hope they will release a DVD too! They were supposed to, but apparentely, with JDD's accident, they cancelel it. This is such a shame! Everyone said the show got better with her wheelchair, so they HAVE to do something!

one has to know that the applause at 00:20 resultet as Joyce presented her (already broken) leg after having been fallen before in the premiere...
