WTF does LOTR have to do with this?? I love both trilogies, and I'm not a so-called "nerd' in anyway. You can like both, but they are completely different.

@rockmaniac3000 The original storyline for the GFIII was about the conflict between Micheal and Tom Hagen. But Duvall (Tom Hagen) disagreed with the budget allotted for him. The production unit found it awkward to change the actor for Tom Hagen, so they changed the storyline instead. Imagine, the Godfather versus his ex-Consagliere! It could have been epic! A lot better than the current storyline for GFIII, maybe better than the I and II!

This movies isn't as good as the as the first two. Lets face it. It was a cash in flick. It's still better then 90% of the movies out there. The best scene is has to be Micheals confession.
