Everyone UNDERSTANDS why it is distorted, but that doesn't mean the audio quality doesn't suck. And no, it wouldn't be hard to record, plug a dat into the board, and rematch it with the video footage.

if you've ever been to a rave and heard how loud the speakers are you'd understand why the sound is so distorted.

it woudl be very hard to record a show like this with reasonably good sound quality using stuff commonly available to the average show-goer...the stacks and stacks of high-power horn subwoofers at clubs like this tend to produce bass at levels that cause the distortion heard here...too bad, good performance though.
