Climate Change is code word for Political change and taxes. They already have all kinds of taxes, but have no intention to include their populations in what is resource confiscation. The Rube Goldberg student Al Gore's plan is working wonderfully, keeps his house warm (globally warmed).

So should we scrap capitalism? Making something profitable does not necessarily make it invalid. I hope positive environmental policy and technology becomes very profitable. I really do. It is the only way to incentivise it in a market economy.

Since you brought up "air we breath" I should point out that due to burning of fossil fuels and the chemical reactions that take place that combines the carbon within them with the air to make CO2 by taking oxygen out of the air O2 levels have dropped by 3%.

Also at high enough concentrations CO2 does cause death, not saying we'll do that any time soon, just pointing out the irony in your bizarre statement.

You should actually read more, while volcanoes do release co2 and temperatures do cool if a super volcano erupts, it's because of the particulate matter that stays in the atmosphere reflecting the light back into space, not "because it releases co2".

The fact that CO2 is a ghg and absorbs long wave radiation is a well accepted principle of physics, well that and it's transparent, which makes me wonder how you think it blots out the sun.

Actually it's a combination of it's extremely high atmospheric pressures and it's primarily CO2 atmosphere, the sulfur clouds actually reflect most of the light into space, but what little light gets through gets absorbed by the CO2 and insulated by the clouds.

Models actually predict a temporary decrease in temperatures due to the reflectivity of the aerosols in the atmosphere

1) we put out over 130 times the CO2 that all volcanoes put in the atmosphere combined according to the US geological survey

2) It's actually the particulate matter not the CO2 that block out the sun since CO2 is transparent

3) ghgs absorb long wave radiation which keeps the atmosphere warm, if the light is the same, higher concentrations result in a higher retention of that energy that normally radiates out into space.

Before you comment on something, it would be to your advantage to look it up first/ History has shown that extreme volcanic eruption that spewed ash into the atmosphere produced carbon dioxide & a global winter. I just read up on it.That's why I was able to make a comment. I don't make comments unless I have the facts for it. We're not Venus, a big difference there & different atmosphere & clouds.

Are you retarded? I mean really. Do you know why Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system? It's because of the huge poisonous clouds that cover it. The Sun rays go through the clouds of ash and bounce of the ground, but when they go back up, they are reflected by the clouds, somewhat like a microwave. If our planet were to become covered in volcanic ash, then the temperature would increase. Congratulations on the fail.
