@felix954 Though with anything driver skill and knowledge is everything. I have tons of seat time in the snow, have tons of seat time at the track both in wet and dry conditions and have no problem correcting when the car slides. I think that where most people lose it is when the panic and/or overcorrect making a small slide into a big spin. I counted 46 cars in the ditch, crashed, or spun that night.

@felix954 With good snow tires they are good well beyond 40mph. It depends on what type of snow though. In the videos that I have posted I never got going that fast, but the night before on my way home at 2:00am I was doing the speed limit the whole way home through 3-6 inches of fresh un-cut powder. The rooster-tail effect on the freeway was crazy. I would have loved to have gotten a pic of that. In my mirrors it looked to be 10 feet high and as long as I could see.

@felix954 I run an 04 MSM with WS-60s all winter in Michigan. It's a beast in the snow, as long as you're paying attention.
