  • @rickbar123 i used hp ipaq 1943 and tungsten t3 then switched to nokia 6600 the only drawback was small screen but today smartphones have screen like PDA(currently using nokia n8,used HTC desire and n97 before)

  • @microsoft637 The last 4 years I worked in home care (hospice), it was not a issue. Now I maybe going back to hospital work. I was shocked to see the PDA market was......well........the same as years before.

  • @rickbar123 ohh i forgot about that i am sorry, but most smartphones have the "offline" or sim free mode, they are more versatile and more usable i just dont see the point of PDA anymore..

  • @microsoft637 I never wanted to bring a phone into the ICU or Er because of the monitors (EKG) . Some places still want phones off.

  • About 15 years ago the Med Students were using Palm. I went that route, it's all I know.

  • @rickbar123 don't your books exist for other platforms?i had a lot of books, including nursing books for symbian in 2006

  • @microsoft637 I am a nurse. I put drug books in it and some nursing books that I need on the job.

  • i wonder who still buying PDAs?

  • @clbyahoocom
