HP released its 4-inch compact PDA 'iPAQ 212 Enterprise Handheld' in Korea market, which adopts a 4-inch touch screen with 480 x 640 resolution.
Running on 624MHz Marvell PXA310 CPU and Windows Mobile 6 Classic OS, it supports 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR wireless technology.
Measuring 76*16*126mm at 192g weight, the PDA is available for 550,000(KRW).
@rickbar123 i used hp ipaq 1943 and tungsten t3 then switched to nokia 6600 the only drawback was small screen but today smartphones have screen like PDA(currently using nokia n8,used HTC desire and n97 before)

@microsoft637 The last 4 years I worked in home care (hospice), it was not a issue. Now I maybe going back to hospital work. I was shocked to see the PDA market was......well........the same as years before.

@rickbar123 ohh i forgot about that i am sorry,but most smartphones have the "offline" or sim free mode,they are more versatile and more usable i just dont see the point of PDA anymore..

@microsoft637 I never wanted to bring a phone into the ICU or Er because of the monitors (EKG) . Some places still want phones off.

About 15 years ago the Med Students were using Palm. I went that route, it's all I know.

most pda's uses an ARM processor which makes it nearly IMPOSSIBLE toget viruses.
