You just lightly press the brake pedal. The front calipers hold you in place, while you overcome the rear calipers. Just make sure you let the rear brakes cool before you pull the e-brake, or you'll warp them, ha ha. It's called a brake stand.

Ha ha, that would have been sweet. They are spendy though, and I was just getting rid of some worn tires anyways. I'd never do that to new ones!!!
